We have an exciting part-time opportunity within our Business Support Service for a self-motivated Team Leader to work alongside a current part-time Team Leader in a job share capacity, within our Youth Offending Service Business Support Team.   As a Team Leader you will have a pivotal role in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of all aspects of our services and work closely with others in the Business Support Services team.

About the Team…..

The YOS Business Support team provide administrative support to frontline youth offending staff, intensive support services, court officers and Senior Leadership team members, with the Youth Offending Service currently based at the Magistrates Court in Birmingham City Centre,

We are a Citywide Administrative team and have 2 operational offices in Washwood Heath and Northfield. 

You will be working with colleagues and multi-agency professionals at all levels across the service to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable children and families.

You will be a ‘can-do' person, who is passionate about high quality service delivery and performance.  You will be able to work effectively within a dedicated team environment, be customer focused and able to deliver the role with a flexible forward-thinking and creative approach.

You will have the experience of change and stakeholder management; possess outstanding leadership and management skills, be well organised, creative and innovative in your thinking and approach.  You will have the skills and confidence to set work and meet tight deadlines; be articulate and proactive.  

You will be able to set clear expectations and be experienced at motivating and delegating to a team.
