Birmingham Children's Trust

We are looking for great people to strengthen our leadership team, people with ambition that matches ours, to be part of the Trust’s continuing improvement journey.

The ASTI service responds to all new requests for social work assessments which have been considered by the front door of our service. We are seeking an experienced social work leader for our Assessment service which is based in the South of the City.

We are the largest provider of family support and social care services for children, young people and families in the country. Our goal is to become a centre of excellence in social care and family support. Our caseloads are some of the lowest in the country and we have successfully reduced our reliance on agency social workers.

As a Trust, we are operationally independent from the local authority, we can do things differently and we can innovate. Our staff are committed and motivated to deliver excellent results, they are proud to work for the Trust.

The challenges are big, but the opportunities are great! In return we offer up to 34 days annual leave, a bespoke leadership programme, a final salary pension and a range of employee benefits which we will be developing further.

For an informal discussion please contact Debbie Currie, Assistant Director on 0121 303 2468
